NO-BAKE CHOCOLATE ORGY BROWNIES | 3 INGREDIENTS

If you’re a lover of chocolate, you don’t wanna miss out on these. If you love dates, neither will you. If you’re a lover of both, you’re gonna weep for joy after trying’ em. (Or you’re not as overdramatic as we are, but at least you’ll find that they’re honestly really really damn good.) If you follow a mainly HCLF (high carb, low fat) vegan diet like we do, we may have to disappoint you — these brownies mainly consist of almonds and cocoa powder. But that’s what treats and desserts are for — to be occasionally enjoyed, along with a nice cup of tea or the company of a friend. I for my part can’t recount all the times I ate a whole baking pan of these and felt zero shame after it. And oh boy, it’s not only that taste — they’re also vegan, glutenfree, paleofriendly, raw and consist of only three ingredients. This recipe is straight from the gods, you may wanna ask? It is. INGREDIENTS (for 1 person):

"liquid" ingredients
2 cups (200g)Dates
Some water

or liquor or rum (optional, for extra added richness)

"liquid" ingredients
1 1/2 cup (200g)almonds, ground
1/2 cup (80g)Cocoa powder
+ Mix your dates and some water (or optional alcoholic beverage) and blend till you have a smooth, gooey paste — should be slightly runny.
+ Whisk your ground almonds and cocoa powder together.
+ Use your hands to combine the liquid and dry ingredients and knead everything till smooth — if needed, add some extra water.
+ Use a square baking dish to form your “dough” and smooth down the surface. Rest in fridge for 1 hour to achieve a perfectly firm consistency — we do recommend this, but it isn’t necessary. Enjoy!
